planning.data.gov.uk
Planning and land-use datasets from MHCLG's planning data platform. Used: brownfield-land (the statutory brownfield land registers: site, hectares, ownership status, planning permission status and date; 279 of 311 expected local planning authorities publish, 90%) and infrastructure-project (the Planning Inspectorate's 293 NSIP projects with application boundaries, one national publisher). Coverage per dataset is checked on every run from the platform's provision summary; datasets published by under 80% of their expected providers are not used (planning-application: 4 of 311; article-4, conservation areas, listed building outlines, tree preservation orders, local plans: 27-68%) (England). Rare Context republishes 8,853 facts from planning.data.gov.uk under Open Government Licence v3.0, linked to owners and places.
