Who we are
Rare Context is run by Wilmake B.V., a private limited company being incorporated in the Netherlands. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Wilmake B.V.
Wilmake B.V. i.o. (in formation), Brouwersgracht 238, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Using the site
You may read, search and link to every page for free. In return:
- do not overload the site. To get data in bulk, use the downloads, not page after page;
- do not try to reach parts of the site or data that are not public;
- do not use the request form for spam, or to send anything unlawful;
- do not suggest that we endorse you or your product.
We may change the site, or take parts of it offline, at any time.
Using the data
The open data comes from public registers and open datasets. Each fact keeps the licence of its source. Our data licence page explains what you may do with it and how to credit each source.
Data we hold but do not publish is shared one to one, for your own evaluation only. Do not publish it or pass it on without our written agreement. The source's own terms apply to it too.
The text, design and name of Rare Context belong to Wilmake B.V. You may quote short parts with a link to the page.
No investment advice
Rare Context gives information, not advice. Nothing on the site or in our messages is investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Nothing is an offer to buy or sell anything, or a recommendation to do so.
We are not a bank, broker or investment firm, and we are not supervised by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). We do not hold money for anyone, and we do not negotiate on anyone's behalf.
Decide for yourself, do your own checks, and get professional advice before you invest.
No warranty
We collect the data with care, but we cannot promise it is correct, complete or current. It comes from third parties. Registers contain errors. Some figures are estimates, and some are out of date when you read them.
We provide the site and the data "as is". Check anything important against the original source before you rely on it. Every fact links to its source.
If you see a mistake, tell us and we will look at it.
Liability
As far as Dutch law allows:
- we are not liable for loss that comes from using the site, the data or an introduction, including lost profit, lost data and missed opportunities;
- if we are liable anyway, our total liability is limited to 500 euros, or to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the loss, whichever is higher.
These limits do not apply to loss caused by our intent or gross negligence. If you are a consumer, they do not take away rights the law gives you.
Introductions
We introduce people only when both sides agree.
- We first describe the other party to you, without sharing who you are.
- We share your name and details only after you say yes, and only with the party you agreed to.
- Either side can say no, at any time, without giving a reason.
- We are not a party to any deal that follows. You negotiate, check and decide yourselves.
- What the other party tells you in confidence stays confidential.
If we charge a fee for an introduction, we agree it with you in writing before we make it.
Other sites
We link to sources and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Changes and law
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Dutch law applies to these terms and to the use of the site. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands for the district where Wilmake B.V. has its registered seat. If you are a consumer, you may also go to the court where you live.
